Miss USA 2005 Chelsea Cooley Altman

chelsea cooley miss usa 2005Chelsea Cooley Altman is Miss USA 2005. Hailing from North Carolina, she is the first woman from her state to take this national title. For a year, Chelsea traveled the country as a National Spokesperson for Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research and Awareness. She helped to raise over 22.8 million dollars for her platform. Chelsea also volunteered with Best Buddies, Special Olympics, St. Jude's and the USO. As Miss USA, Chelsea resided in New York City working for Donald Trump. She now lives in North Carolina and continues to work in entertainment hosting and correspondence.

Chelsea is currently writing a book, “Beauty Pageant Confidential: Miss USA Reveals How You Can Take the Crown.” Chelsea is passionate about empowering young women to reach their goals through positive paths. She has been dubbed as one of the most in-demand young speakers of her generation as she travels throughout the United States sharing her experiences and insight on the topics of breast and ovarian cancer, youth leadership, domestic violence, self-esteem, and teamwork.
